Variegated Field Maple - Acer campestre Carnival (latin)

Area of origin: Horticulture
Adult dimensions: Height up to 5m
Foliage: Deciduous
Soil type: Any
Hardiness: Hardy to -24°C
Exposure: Part-shade to full sun

Properties and uses:
The variegated Field Maple ‘Carnival’ offers a beautiful green foliage with an elegant creamy-white border. The young leaves offer shades of pink on emergence, from pale to salmon pink.
It is also a small tree which can be planted alone near a house or in groups for living hedges or windbreak hedges. It can also be used to make lines of trees.
Plant it in a partial shade spot so the summer sun does not damage the foliage; as in a Japanese garden surrounded by other acid soil plants such as Camelias, Azaleas, and Rhododendrons.

Field maple varieties:
Field maple: This tree can cope with hard pruning.
