Jean-Michel Groult With the return of milder weather even in the early mornings, everything is possible!

Firstly, it is the moment to plant those cold fearing vegetables like aubergines and other sun loving vegetables, or to sow them directly in the soil. French beans, courgettes and those other household favourites but of course, they will need a bit of care and attention. Do not forget to remove those dead flowers, especially those first roses, peonies, iris etc. Cut off the dead flower just underneath so leaving the new buds to flourish. With the roses, this little tidy up will prolong the flowering period by several weeks: it is really worth the effort!
