Red Jasmine -
Jasminum beesianum (latin)

Geographical origins: China, Tibet.
Adult dimensions: Height up to 3 m, width up to 2 m.
Foliage: Deciduous to semi-evergreen.
Type of soil: Light, well drained, withstands drought.
Hardiness: Hardy to -12°C.
Site: Mid-shade to full sun.
Characteristics and uses: This very unusual Jasmine, blossoms from May right through to July. It produces a multitude of raspberry pink to red, small flowers, which have a delicate sweet scent.
The Red Jasmine will thrive if planted and trained along a south facing wall, protected from cold winds. It can be pruned after blossoming.

White jasmine (Jasminum officinalis), hardy to -12°C, highly scented white flowers, semi evergreen foliage
Winter Jasmine (Jasminum nudiflorum), hardy to -15°C, small bright yellow flowers in winter, deciduous foliage
